What kind of photograph is best used for a portrait ?

The photograph you want to use has to be sharp and clear.

The minimal picture resolution should be 880 x 600 pix, with a maximal possible

definition of the details such as eyelashes, folds of the eyelids etc. I strongly recommend the highest possible resolution , over 1000 pix, as the better the quality of the chosen photo, better the end result of the portrait.
